United Rotary Brush (URB) has acquired the sweeper broom business of Old Dominion Brush (ODB), a 115 year old manufacturer with a history of innovation and service for the street sweeping and road construction equipment industry. ODB’s brush business and portfolio of innovations, such as their patented “CLAW” gutter broom, becomes part of and will operate under the United Rotary Brush brand. With 8 manufacturing and shipping locations, United Rotary Brush will be able to offer URB and former ODB customers their combined product offering with 1-2 days shipping time to the majority of North America. Following this transaction, the Alamo Group will retain the Old Dominion Brush and ODB brands, which remain focused on their highly respected leaf-vac and debris collection equipment.
